Specific date of "Star Wars: Episode I" 3-D release has not been announced but sources tell the site that Fox is eying a date around Valentine's Day. The other five films are expected to follow a year apart on comparable dates.
John Knoll, a visual effects supervisor of ILM which oversees the 3-D conversion of "Star Wars", has previously said that they won't do the conversion in a rush. "Getting good results on a stereo conversion is a matter of taking the time and getting it right," he stated. "For Star Wars we will take our time, applying everything we know both aesthetically and technically to bring audiences a fantastic new 'Star Wars' experience."
