Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal Enjoy Sunday Stroll Together

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are now romantically linked after the two were reportedly caught holding hands and sharing starry-eyed gazes during a recent stroll. Life & Style magazine reported that the two, who have nine years age gap, spent their weekend, October 24, together in Brooklyn, New York.

Despite their effort to stay incognito, onlookers were reportedly still able to recognize Swift and Gyllenhaal who were both born in December. One bystander told the site, "Taylor and Jake were walking around Park Slope holding hands. They looked like a couple!"

Us Magazine further reported that a day before Swift and Gyllenhaal enjoyed the weekend stroll, the "Today Was a Fairytale" singer brought the "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" actor to "Saturday Night Live" taping, which was hosted by Swift's BFF Emma Stone. Of the "SNL" time, a witness told the site, "They chatted a lot, but no kissing or hand holding or anything affectionate."

Both Swift and Gyllenhaal haven't responded on the romance rumor. The "Love Story" singer was previously romantically linked to John Mayer and Taylor Lautner after ending her relationship with Joe Jonas. Gyllenhaal, in the meantime, ended his relationship with Reese Witherspoon in November 2009.

2010 CMA Awards: Taylor Swift Sings 'Back to December'

Taylor Swift went "Back to December" in her live performance of the November 10 CMA Awards. The country music cutie sat behind a black grand piano and crooned her mellow lines of the song which is lifted from her 2010 fastest-selling album "Speak Now".

Her performance was introduced by "Country Strong" star Leighton Meester. Swift opted a long slivery gown and put on red lipstick with her blond hair up. The December winter atmosphere was brought to the stage with fake snow falling.

"Your guard is up and I know why/ Because the last time you saw me is still burned in the back of your mind," she sang. "You gave me roses, and I left them there to die/ So this is me swallowing my pride standing in front of you/ Saying I'm sorry for that night and I go back to December all the time."

Taylor Swift Stays at No. 1 on Hot 200 in Its Second Week

Taylor Swift has extended her "Speak Now" reign for another week on Billboard Hot 200. After debuting at the first place with impressive sale number of more than 1 million copies, now she claims the hot spot with additional 320,000 unit, easily beating the other competitors.

Jason Aldean's newly-released effort "My Kinda Party" arrives at the runner-up position with 193,000, pushing Sugarland's "The Incredible Machine" to fall one slot to the third with 60,000 copies. Landing at No. 4 is Mariah Carey's second holiday album "Merry Christmas II You". Debuting at No. 1 on Holiday Albums chart, the follow-up to her 1994 "Merry Christmas" sold around 55,000 copies.

There are two more new entries which make their way to the Top 10 of the U.S. albums chart this week. Neil Diamond's latest studio project "Dreams" enters at the eighth place with 35,000, and Brad Paisley's compilation "Hits Alive" follows at No. 9 with 31,000. The rest of the chart see Lil Wayne's "I'm Not a Human Being" at No. 5, Kings of Leon's "Come Around Sundown" at No. 6, Eminem's "Recovery" at No. 7, and Elton John's "The Union" at tenth.

Taylor Swift might not face tight competition to win the first spot this week, but she is going to have a strong competitor next week. Susan Boyle's sophomore set "The Gift" is estimated to debut with around 250,000 copies. It seems to be an equal match since Boyle herself had impressive chart history in the past. She made a grand entrance last year when her debut album "I Dreamed a Dream" bowed at No. 1 with 701,000 copies sold. By the end of 2009, she followed Swift as the second best-selling album of the year.

A number of big names, such as Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Leighton Meester, Nicole Kidman and Miranda Lambert, attended the annual prize-giving event which was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday night, November 10.

Taylor, who was tapped for a live performance that night, showed up in a red gown which was slashed to the thigh and completed it with cream strapless heels. Carrie, who was up for Female Vocalist of the Year award against the "Fearless" hitmaker, opted a black and gray tiered tulle creation from Talbot Runhof's Fall '10 line. The "Inside Your Heaven" singer kept it simple with a minimal diamond jewelery and a blinged out encrusted clutch.

"Gossip Girl" beauty Leighton hit the ceremony in a geometric print halter dress which was short at the front and long at the back. She matched her look with diamonte ankle strap heels. Meanwhile, Nicole, who was accompanied by her husband Keith Urban, donned a demure white lace frock and bright orange shoes. Keith kept it classic with a suit and dark jeans.

Miranda, in the meantime, sported a low cut fuchsia dress for the event. The singer, who was up for Female Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year prizes, struck a pose with fiance Blake Shelton who was wrapped in a neat suit complete with a vest. Blake was also a nominee at the event - he was up for Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year awards.

Taylor Swift and Kanye West's Feud to Be Spoofed in R-Rated Movie

Porn king Steve Hirsch is to spoof Taylor Swift and Kanye West's one-time feud in a new X-rated movie. The pair hit the headlines after West stormed the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards to protest Swift's win, declaring her Best Female Video prize belonged to his friend Beyonce Knowles.

Now adult movie masterminds at Hirsch's Vivid Entertainment want the pair to kiss and make up in the bedroom as they parody their relationship in a naughty new DVD. Production on the racy film will begin in "the next two months".

He tells website Celebuzz.com, "We're always analyzing news stories for their movie potential. The Kanye/Taylor feud has high visibility, is filled with passion and is something we believe that fans of adult films would enjoy."

"We're reviewing script concepts and definitely want to include that famous moment at the Video Music Awards."

Taylor Swift Debuts Ten 'Speak Now' Songs on Billboard Hot 100

Taylor Swift has followed up her U.S. album chart success on Wednesday, November 3 by debuting 10 tracks on the Billboard Hot 100 pop countdown. All 10 new entries feature on the star's latest hit album "Speak Now", which debuted at number one on the album chart after selling more than one million copies in its first week of release.

But Swift isn't the only female artist celebrating pop chart success - as expected Ke$ha has become only the 17th artist in the modern chart era to debut at number one. Her song "We R Who We R" has rocketed to number one thanks mainly to 280,000 digital downloads.

"Like a G6" by Far East Movement drops a spot to two on the new chart, while Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are" rounds out the new top three in America.

Taylor Swift Makes Historical No. 1 Debut With More Than 1 Million Copies

Taylor Swift makes a grand entry on Billboard Hot 200. Her latest studio effort "Speak Now" firmly grabs the No. 1 position by selling 1,047,000 copies in its first week, scoring the biggest sales week for an album since 50 Cent's "The Massacre" invaded the chart with 1,141,000 in March 2005.

In addition, the impressive sale debut has made Swift one of four solo female acts to ever sell more than a million albums in just a week. The other three record holders are Britney Spears' 2000 "Oops!...I Did It Again" (1,310,000), Whitney Houston's 1992 "The Bodyguard" soundtrack (1,061,000) and Norah Jones' 2004 "Feels Like Home" (1,022,000).

The 20-year-old singer might fall short of scoring the all-time record for the best first week by a female artist, but she holds the biggest sales week of any female country act in the Nielsen SoundScan era (which began in 1991). In addition, she grabs the second-largest sales week of any country album behind Garth Brooks who bowed 1,085,000 copies with his 1998 album "Double Live".

On top of breaking those records, Swift has taken the title of 2010's best chart debut, beating Eminem's "Recovery" which arrived at No. 1 with 741,000 units earlier this year. To snatch this year's biggest-selling album, she however has to be able to push aside the Slim Shady who is now leading the pack with around 2.9 million.

"I... Can't... Believe... This... You guys have absolutely lit up my world. Thank you," Swift tweeted just after the sales figure was revealed. Fellow singer Justin Bieber who once supported her in her "Fearless" dates also congratulated her, "Congrats to my friend and someone I admire and was there for me from day 1. U did it."

The other person who is proud of her achievement of course is her label boss in Big Machine Records. "It's always been a rarity," Borchetta told MTV. "How many artists in the SoundScan era have done a million? Shania [Twain] never did it. Garth [Brooks] did it once. I hate to say it, but if we can get there, it could be the last time."

Not only her label but also people from other record companies seem to have predicted this milestones as they cleverly avoid competition with Swift by emptying the October 25 - 26 release date calendar. Beside "Speak Now", the only new entry on the Top 10 of the U.S. albums chart is "Crazy Love Hollywood Edition" by Michael Buble. It lands at No. 10 with 26,000 copies sold.

The rest of the chart are mainly secured by holdovers. Sugarland sits at No. 2, Kings of Leon at No. 3, Lil Wayne at No. 4, Eminem at No. 5, Elton John at No. 6, latest "Glee" soundtrack at No. 7, Rod Stewart at. 8, and Darius Rucker at No. 9.

Top 10 of Billboard Hot 200:
  1. "Speak Now" - Taylor Swift (1,047,000)
  2. "The Incredible Machine" - Sugarland (86,000)
  3. "Come Around Sundown" - Kings of Leon (67,000)
  4. "I'm Not a Human Being" - Lil Wayne (43,000)
  5. "Recovery" - Eminem (38,000)
  6. "The Union" - Elton John and Leon Russell (37,000)
  7. "Glee: The Music, The Rocky Horror Glee Show" - various artists (31,000)
  8. "Fly Me to the Moon...The Great American Songbook Volume V" - Rod Stewart (30,000)
  9. "Charleston, SC 1966" - Darius Rucker (27,000)
  10. "Crazy Love Hollywood Edition" - Michael Buble (26,000)

Taylor Swift Hits Back at Former Manager, Accusing Him of Harassment

Taylor Swift has stepped up a legal battle with her former manager by accusing him of deliberately making her life a misery with his litigation attempt. Dan Dymtrow, who managed Swift when she was 14 years old, filed suit in New York last month, claiming he is owed millions of dollars in commission for playing a key role in the singer's career.

He also accused the "Love Story" star's parents of delaying the signing of Swift's lucrative record deal until after he had been fired to avoid paying him any more money. Swift's attorneys have now fired back at Dymtrow, filing papers at a Manhattan court on Tuesday, November 2 alleging he has deliberately set out to upset the star.

The legal documents claim Dymtrow has repeatedly "used the litigation process to attempt to harass and cause grief" to Swift and her family, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal Spent Halloween Weekend Together

Taylor Swift seemed to have reason why she refused to deny Jake Gyllenhaal romance rumors during her recent appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". According to Us Weekly, the singer, who just released her new album "Speak Now" in late October, was spotted spending a Halloween weekend together with the "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" star.

Taylor and Jake reportedly enjoyed the Halloween weekend in California, hitting the pool at the Post Ranch in Big Sur. An eyewitness said, "Taylor laughed at everything Jake said. At one point, she measured herself against Jake on her tiptoes," with another observer adding that Jake "held her hand."

Following the holiday, on late Monday, November 1, Taylor and Jake were said cruising around in Santa Barbara where they stopped for an ice cream break at McConnell's. One staff at the McConnell's snitched, "They looked at all the flavors and couldn't decide, so they asked the counter girls for help."

The pair, who was said looking "happy" and friendly", finally decided their orders - Swiss chocolate chip for Jake and yogurt with rainbow sprinkles for Taylor. The staff further mentioned that the "Mine" singer "was very interested in" what the staff "was doing in the back making ice cream and said, 'Wow, you guys are legit'."

After reportedly spending for about 20 minutes at McConnell's, Taylor and Jake split with the "Brokeback Mountain" star paying the bill. According to the staff, once the two separated, college-age fans approached them in the parking lot for photos.

Taylor Swift Works With Arden to Create Her First Perfume

Taylor Swift has conquered the world of music and had a little taste of acting. The 20-year-old is now trying her hands on the perfume business, teaming up with Elizabeth Arden which has bottled Britney Spears, Hilary Duff and Mariah Carey in the past.

"I have always loved how fragrance can shape a memory," she said in a statement to WWD. "The way certain scents remind you of events and people that are imprinted in your thoughts. Lately I've been having fun experimenting with combining some of my favorite scents, so I'm really excited about working with Elizabeth Arden to develop my own unique fragrance."

The singer will be totally involved in the development including packaging and advertising. While there is no information on the name or how it would smell like, it is reported that the fragrance is coming fall next year.

The announcement came in the middle of Swift's promotional marathon for her latest album "Speak Now". Led by single "Mine", the third studio album was released on October 25 and is expected to reign the Billboard Hot 200 chart this week. Billboard.biz said the album will shift at least 800,000 to 900,000 copies in the first week but 1 million copies is also likely.

Taylor Swift Refuses to Deny Jake Gyllenhaal Romance Rumor on 'Ellen'

during her Friday, October 29 chat on "Taylor Swift has been forced to address the nature of her relationship with Hollywood actor Jake GyllenhaalThe Ellen DeGeneres Show" which will be aired on Monday, November 1. "Are you optimistic about love? How do you feel about love right now?" host Ellen DeGeneres quizzed, trying to bring up the topic.

"I'm always optimistic about love," Taylor who looked lovely in her black lace dress said, before beginning to backtrack slightly, "Sometimes." Ellen asked again, "But right now you are?" with the "Speak Now" singer responding "Well, why wouldn't anyone be?"

"Especially if your boyfriend is Jake Gyllenhaal, because he is very handsome," Ellen further teased. "Y'all are just hanging out though right?" Ellen confronted again. Taylor later acknowledged that she was pictured with Jake together when they were out in New York together last week. "You have a picture of us on the (TV) screen, don't you?" Taylor said while Ellen confessed, "Right."

"But it's just y'all hanging out - this does not prove anything. I'm just saying he's adorable and I like him very much, and so if that is the case that he's your boyfriend, I think that's fantastic," Ellen continued to suggest. However, knowing that Taylor once said that she likes to write song about her ex-boyfriends, Ellen asked her on Jake's behalf, "Wouldn't he be nervous if anything goes wrong?"

As for speculation that her new song "Dear John" talks about her brief fling with fellow singer John Mayer, Taylor quipped, "That song kind of is what it is." Ellen replied, "OK, great. We know the answer now. It's about him. You didn't dispute it so obviously," with Taylor giving her I-can't-believe-you-said-that look.

She added, "I think that smart kids are the coolest kids. (Without books) you can let little things pass you by, little details. You might just let that pass you by if you have never read books that describe how beautiful they are, from somebody else's perspective."

Swift also treated the kids to a short performance with her band at the end of the talk, performing her new single, "Mine", according to the Associated Press.

I've seen that people have to really work through love and fight for it, and I've been in relationships where you have to fight for it. And is it worth it?"

"I don't think that love can possibly be easy all the time, in fact, most of the time it's going to be hard. I think it's important to try to find someone who's going to tell you, 'This is worth it,' when you're scared, and tell you, 'I'm never leaving you,' when you're doubting it. I think that's the most important thing."
